I got it in anticipation of our new mixer, which will have us running our individual monitor mixes from our iPads. Dominic is having us run Onsong for lyrics but it doesn't seem to work well as far as the syncing of the devices when he calls a song.

Il survive. Not sure about the iPad, which I dropped on my pedalboard when the clip collapsed while I was trying to adjust it in the middle of a song. Not gonna do that again.

iPad drop #2 was from some drunk whore knocking my mic stand over at the end of the night. Luckily it didn't get hurt but this morning it's been decided via text that the girls who play tambourine are no longer allowed on stage.

That happened to me at Muldoon's a couple of weeks ago. The same drunk girl's butt hit my mic stand 4x times that night. Fortunately my iPad stand is sturdy but when you are in the middle of a solo and looking at your guitar neck, a thump on the head from a mic kind of stings.

I think maybe you should invest in one of these...

I use those for my phones. You can't mount an iPad on your stand using any of the clips I've seen with the iPad in a case though.
