Mojo Request Emergency room here I come

Sounds like you're going to be enjoying an appendectomy or cholecystectomy in the very near future. As a veteran of both I wish you all the good drugs in the world.

Wow, they tapped your AC for an IV? Not the usual spot but maybe your hand and wrist veins weren't behaving.

Hang in there. If it is the appendix acting up, it usually comes and goes with stabbing pain that can radiate across to the left side.

I had it in my 20's and unwisely drove myself to the ER at 1 in the morning. Luckily the pain hit only once on the way. It also hit while I was peeing in a cup and I barely kept it from dropping to the floor. The nurse saw me exit the restroom and ran over when she saw I turned green! That sped up the process quite a bit.

Also, be very, very thankful laproscopic surgery is a thing. My appendectomy was old school and I still look like Frankenstein's monster where they sewed me up. But my cholecystectomy was laproscopic and it's impossible to find evidence that it ever happened. Far less recovery pain too.
