That place is nuts sometimes. I've basically stopped posting in GJ, and spend all my time in EG because it can be ridiculous in a work safe manner.
They're also arguing about hide glue, which is another useless argument.
The best thread is the "which guitars should be reissued" thread, where they suggest different permutations of the strat. I've been arguing against reissues of any kind and taking personal attacks. Its great!

One of my old (soon to be back next week) students is a regular poster in the "OMG..." thread and I've gotten sucked into that.

Howie can do much better. All he said so far was "Looks like the luddites are out in force today" or something to that effect. Im actually somewhat disappointed. At first I thought Howie hated me and that was just normal conversation.

honestly, i'm surprised nobody's called me out in that thread for my fenders, rickenbacker, and army of danelectros. but then all of those guitars have modern appointments, so they don't really have anything anyway.
