Describe your foundation rock tone...

For example. I’d say mine falls between Malcolm Young and Rudolph Schenker. Or more simply AC/DC and The Scorpions.

kinda depends on what i'm playing, but i guess somewhere between Joe Walsh and Don Felder
(big surprise, huh)

If I'm not playing with anyone else and I'm just sitting on the couch then my tone is mostly clean with just the slightest bit of hair to it.

Definitely depends on what I'm playing. That said, my main toanz for the rock cover band stuff is somewhere between John Sykes and Neal Schon.

Something like Matt Pike, Wata & Takeshi, or Buckingham era Electric Wizard. A fuzz in front of a huge amp that’s cranked to overdrive so you get a crackling attack followed by a wall of noise. Kind of late Hendrix or Iommi on Volume 4.

Depends on the song of course.....

But generally my tone is probably close to Tom Petty's rhythm tone, Glen Phillips electric playing (Toad the Wet Sprocket), with a touch of Noel Gallagher thrown in.
