You must get a shitload of alerts, then...I have a setting turned on where I get an alert whenever a thread started by a dick
Waitaminute...you deny the fact that you're a dick?So let's get this straight. You're the guy who puts people on ignore when they disagree with you, but I'm the dick. In the words of Ernie Anastos, keep fuckin' that chicken.![]()

I don't ignore anyone. I like to laugh at the stupidity.Good quote! I'll remember that.
Over at TGP, I hand out Ignores like Oprah hands out cars. I'll ignore someone even if I don't like the content in a post.
Thankfully, here, not an issue.

you better believe that's a paddlin.Conversations, discussions, etc, about caps, speakers, etc. are all academic, but as soon as someone says an amp, that they've never played, is inferior be until you install brand X caps...that's someone that will never add any value to my life.

Sensitivity has little to do with it, rarely do I Ignore anyone because of interaction. I don't suffer fools well and use the Ignore function to save time over at TGP. It's my way of twiddling out the tire-kickers, cork-sniffers, and people who are rude to those who are helping them, so I can focus on the conversations, questions, advice worth my time.
I learned a long time ago I can't save idiots from themselves, but I see no need to stand in their splash zone.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever used any ignore list.
And, for better or worse, I totally judge those who do. It's almost always childish and churlish, and never reflects well. If you're thin-skinned, then you should have enough self-knowledge to avoid Internet discussion groups entirely, rather than expecting to be accommodated. 'Easier to wear slippers than to carpet the world', etc.
It's almost never a surprise when forumites reveal themselves to be hyper-sensitive and to have persecution complexes.
