So a few months ago I got a EHX Memory Boy from my wife for my birthday. I like the tone but there are 2 problems. A significant volume increase when the pedal i engaged and mine has a short delay time even maxed out.

The volume increase is a dealbreaker. I'm looking for an analog delay with about 500-600 ms of delay (without expression pedal) warm sounding, and no volume increase when engaged. Affordable is nice, I don't want to spend more than 2 hundo on it. Suggestions?

You know, I really like my Hardwire Delay.

I've heard great things about the MXR Carbon Copy as far as analog delays go.

I know the hardwire has a crap ton of settings. How convincing are the analog settings? I like to keep my sound pretty lo-fi.

I've never had a true analog delay, but the analog delay setting on the Hardwire sounds really good to me. It also has a Lo-Fi delay setting.

I did a little demo of it when I got it.

My internet is being really flakey right now, but I'll try to find it.

I really like my Line6 Delay modeller ..the "analog" model sounds pretty good to me. I know people have questioned the quality control..but I've had mine for years and no problems with it at all.

I love my Carbon Copy. I bought one for our inventory and ended up keeping it for myself. Sounds great, works great....
