Datsun To Return in July!

Very true. I do like the rev matching feature on their manual tranny though.
 
A fledgling Japanese automobile company asked a veteran German auto maker to suggest a name for its new car.

"We need a name no later than tomorrow," said the Japanese official.

"Dat soon?" replied the surprised German.

And Nissan's famous Datsun series was born.
 
I could use a $5,500 new car. But noooo, I have to pay a bunch extra for useless junk like air bags, seat belts and a gas tank that doesn't explode in a lethal fireball during a minor fender-bender.
 
My first car was a 1975 Datsun B210 I paid $500 for. There was no key slot in the ignition switch, I had to start it with a screwdriver, and it had more Bondo than sheet metal. It only lasted me a month until it died and I junked it. Live and learn I guess.
