absolutely not. They were clueless. Look how everybody looks towards the cameraman. Imagine what was going through their head ,"WTF is that contraption....why is he pointing that at me"

I am such a child. The word turd always make me laugh. It's never not funny.

I kinda think by 1902 they would probably recognize a box with a lens on it as a camera of some sort and many would have seen a moving picture show before.
