College football jam.....

The LSU - Clemson game tonight might be a good one. It's a better matchup, on paper, than many a New Years Day game this season.

How did Purdue get a New Years bowl invite?

They were what, the 7th best team in the Big-10? (Ohio St. Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Penn St. Michigan St. were all better)
 
So the big east took down the SEC last night. I wish I was still in Florida. I would love to hear what they are saying on the radio today. I wonder how many are calling for muschamp's head?
 
I saw that result too. Very interesting! I have no vested interest in either team, but I love it when BCS rankings don't match up with game results. I feel bad for Terry though. That's your team, right?

I don't think Muschamp is the only culprit. Everyone involved in that program needs to be beat with a rubber hose.

I hope I never see that Driskol slub under center ever again.

Don't feel bad for me. I lost a couple hundred bucks to my friends, but I will survive.

It was obvious that they didn't want to be there. When you don't take your opponent seriously, you get your ass kicked.
 
What sucks is that all these games are now on ESPN, and I got rid of that package a few months ago. I thought the big bowl games would be on network television. Even the national championship game is on ESPN.
 
Crap on that. My son has been running through the series run of Monk the past few weeks. That's good enough for non-sports TV for me. I do still have some cable. For instance, I watched Mad Max and Mad Max 2 on AMC the other night. Didn't stay up for Mad Max 3, though.
