College football jam.....

Ok, so I guess that is why you play games and don't rely on the rankings.

NO! You should NEVER play a game when Rev is the one who knows who the best team is. It was clear today that Alabama smoked A&M. But let's give A&M a ribbon for scoring more points.

Lol, I didn't get to see the game today. Mrs. Rev and I went to see Skyfall this afternoon. I still stand by the statement that Oregon sucks.

*grin*

Huskies are up over the Utes in the 3rd. cool!

JakeS, I think you mean Oregon State. Ducks are up big over Cal.

I think the SEC took itself out of the title picture, barring a loss by a few of these unbeatens (which of course can definitely happen). The ND v USC game usually provides some drama.

AP, that was Oregon State. The Oregon Ducks remain undefeated after handling Cal easily after waking up. '

Check out this article. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1404503-oregon-vs-cal-ducks-state-their-case-for-no-1-ranking

I bet it gets Rev's blood going this morning!

Oh, and for stuff I care about more than either Alabama or Oregon, the Huskies put the big hurt on the Utah Utes yesterday, 34-15. That is satisfying though I do root for the Utes over BYU. Too many BYU fans around here.

There is talk now of a bowl game for UW now that they have become bowl eligible. Sweet! I don't care if they aren't in the top 10. They are alive at least again! http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=323150264

Ags will try this weekend. It's a bit of a long shot, but the A&M offense has been rolling and 'bama may be on a let down after their last minute win over perennial rival LSU. If A&M wins, that'll shake up the BCS enough that the SEC may not have a shot at the national title this year.

A one loss SEC team still goes to the title game. A&M doesn't stand a chance in that game.

You saw it here first. Gig 'em Ags!

Oregon loses to Standford, ND beats Kansas St. in BCS title game.

Works for me. :)

No way Oregon loses to Stanford - even with their beat up defense. Stanford can't slow down Oregon and can't score as fast. Oregon wins that one in a shootout.

I definitely think Oregon is half of the championship game. The other half is the big question mark. K State will have a tough game against Texas, but it is being played at K-State.

Notre Dame has to play USC in SoCal, but USC has consistently played below their talent level this season - though Kiffin could possibly save his job with a win over ND so they will be fired up and ready to play.

Oh, I didn't realize what people were saying. That Oregon would get beat by Stanford in an upcoming game. I got confused because Stanford held on to win over Oregon State yesterday. Well, my UW Huskies took down Stanford with good D earlier this year, and subsequently got slaughtered by the Ducks, if that is any indication. I don't think the Ducks will have much problem with them. Stanford did not have nearly the offensive power that the Ducks had.

Well almost. 'Bama did tighten the defense up - but not enough. K-state - Oregon title game maybe...

I am definitely surprised. As much as I hate Saban, he finds a way to clamp down on defense in the second half. Definitely surprised by the outcome but I dont think it is the same dominant Alabama it was.
