Wrote this two Saturdays ago. Recorded it over the course of the following week. Spent this week fussing with it. It’s not “out” yet but thought it might be cool to get some ears on it.

Nice arrangement and production. It's the little things that count.

My reductionist tendencies wants to call it a Celtic Cure vibe. Cure-like arrangement with the droning synth and melodic single note guitar accompaniment. Celtic-like for the modal sound.

Thanks, all. The Celtic Cure thing does make some sense as I’m definitely dipping a toe into the Cure and Bunnymen type romantic gothy vibes on this project. And also a lot of UK folk revival and psych-folk stuff.

And @jelloman thanks for the offer! I actually didn’t bother you with this one because I’m working on a bunch of other stuff and I’m certain I’ll ask for your help later. This track was mostly a distraction from the little pile of songs I’m working on that grew out of some stuff I was messing with because COVID and the holidays have slowed my band’s progress on an EP.
