Just landed in Houston. Got about a 2 hour layover here. Tried to get sleep on the plane but could only catnap. Two baby twins were right in front of me and one was fussy. Tantrum crying every so often.

Plane ride for me are jeans, tshirt and shoes. Brought a light jacket because I left early this morning and will be coming back late evening.
So the evening doesn't get cool there? I've never been to that neck of the woods before.

It might. Here in Ohio it's going to be low 80s (humidity is going to be pretty high) and go down into the mid 60's at night. Hopefully we'll have similar weather there, but the humidity will probably be a bit higher. You don't have to worry about it getting too cool.

It's going to be wet. Highs in low 80s but storms likely all weekend. It's pouring right now. Probably a couple inches of rain in the last 20 minutes. That should keep it cooler though.

The temp get lower, but the humidity doesn't go down. Shorts and t-shirts are all you will need.

I'm going to ask my supervisor if I can take a few hours personal time and hit the road early. Hopefully I'll be packing it up here in about an hour, as long as he's cool with it and I don't get any calls.
I got the acoustic in the car, a cymbal bag and a couple cymbal stands, my guitar rack for 5 guitars, (no electrics this year), and the crock pot for my sandwiches.
