Bought a Tech 21 Fly Rig Sansamp....

I've owned the RK in the past.... but now the two I carry to every show are the Acoustic (with built in tuner and XLR DI) and one of two Cali prototypes that I bought directly from Tech 21 NYC. :baimun:

So with those you can go directly into a floor monitor and no amp?

That's the beauty of those little beasts!... I get the best tones out of mine running into a small cleanish guitar amp, but I often will patch it direct like when it's one of the sounds for my live looping rig. The acoustic out of the Taylor into the tan acoustic model, the magnetic pickup into the Cali flyrig... then the outs of each into the right and left of the loop pedal... then those to two different channels on the mixing board or summed and two-in-one-out of the looper. Whichever works best.

Obviously the settings will not be the same... but I've gotten very usable tones running it direct. The one I have has a little "cab sim" button that I can engage or disable by which way sounds better.
