Is the Jazz really that thick or is it an optical illusion? It looks twice as thick as the others.

The phone is adding some kind of fish eye thing, neither the Jazz nor the Hofner are as thick as they appear. It's just a Geddy Lee Jazz, normal size.

No 5s. I had a few and they are fun but for the type of music I like to play almost entirely unnecessary.

It is not. I sold that a while back! This is a 2013 American Standard.

That's a pretty good selection. Maybe throw a D-tuner on the P-Bass. I have one on my Music Man bass and it's pretty cool.

I didn't HAVE to get one... but my low E tuner button... clover leaf... flappy thingee.... came loose and would rattle while playing low notes. I figured if I needed to replace ONE tuner, I might as well just throw a D-Tuner on it and call it a day.

I think mine was about 50 or 60 bucks.

It went through a few different necks between barnstorm and sale. This one feels very close to it (i preferred this one)

I have been so curious to try a Dingwall for years now, but you never see them in stores and they are crazy expensive. I’d love to get a Super P.
