Be honest, who's looking forward to the Harry Potter flick?

oh my.

I only saw the first one, so I'm not really excited about the newest film. I guess when my kids are a little older, I'll end up watching all of the movies on DVD with them.

I took 5 kids to the midnight showing Thursday night. They were all pretty fired up about and it and all said it lived up to the hype for them. I hadnt really seen many of the movies but thought this one was very good. We saw the 3D version and it was fantastic. Not the gimmic type of 3D stuff, just very ..............well, 3 dimensional.

well, since the first film, the director has changed (twice?) the stories got darker and darker as the books matured with their supposed readership and the stars have all got ten years older.

maybe time to give these another shot guys who saw the first and decided not to bother

I have to watch part 1 again I was pretty tired when I saw it and kept drifting in and out. It did seem like there was a lot of camping.

maybe...I still have 5 or 6 seasons of Dexter to catch up on first.

Just took the boys to see it in 3D, which is the best way to watch it in this instance.

For me, it was the darkness that caused me to lose interest in the movies. I know that is how the books went, but it isn't how I go. When my anxiety problems are triggered by a kid's movie it makes me go Hmmmm.

I went to see the new Harry Potter flick last night. Totally confused. I guess I should have watched Part 1 as well as the two movies before Part 1 before seeing the final movie. And I mean no offense, but there were some truly awful performances by a good number of the supporting used-to-be-child actors.

They showed the Dark Knight trailer too. Mostly showed some shabby, homeless-looking guy in a hospital bed and breaking glass. I didn't get it.

I'm getting too old for this shit.
