Sure, it isn't exactly an acoustic either. I just tried to pick items for the poll that were fairly similar. You can pick whatever you like, and that looks like an excellent choice.

I voted for the LP, simply because I have that one (in wine red), and the only other one I've played out of those was the Explorer.

2nd choice would probably be the Godin, if I could change the pickup colour, and take the friggin' name off the body, that drives me batshit.
that all said, I paid $1300 for my SG, and I never played a guitar that fit me better, so it gets my vote, despite not being on the list.

Out of that list it would be the Godin. The LP Studio would be considered as well. The Tyler looks interesting, but I have no interest in the whole Variax thing.

I picked the Godin. I don't want a modeling guitar. I've never really been a big fan of the Randy Roades or the Wolfgang. LP Studios are sort of on my "meh' list, and while I like Explorers, the body shape just outright clashes with my playing style (you have to sling them down low, which I don't do with guitars). Actually since you mentioned other $1300 guitars at Sweet water, this is more my thing:

The Godin "acoustic" kerouac put up is probably more electric capable than the solid-bodies.
But look where all those tiny controls are, right up beside the neck. That's just being mean.
Godin has no right to think his electronics trump a basic hand position and easy upper neck access.
And, ellengtrgrl, I can sympathize with you, about you not hanging your guitars down low.
All your comments show you to be a player of considerable technique and appreciation.
That's just how you come across, another player, someone to consider seriously.
But it's obvious your persona is a woman, and I can sympathize, even having previous feels,
about hanging a guitar in front of you when you have bosoms.
That's something you don't see the men getting into in this domain, is how different bras affect your performance.
I'm not going to get into that right now, not having a bra handy for demonstration being the main reason.
But that subject is definitely worth a thread.
It can be a problem. I filled in for a band that featured "Canadas' Dolly Parton", a country bassist,
not a very uplifting experience. She even made that Gibson S.G. bass (EBO?) sound flat.
