But I am thinking about listing a few guitars for sale on Reverb.com
Let me say that I have never sold any gear online. I've only sold 2 guitars ever and those were to friends.

However I have too many and something needs to go.
How easy is it to list on Reverb? What are things to look out for?
Do you list the actual price or do you inflate it knowing that you'll have offers?

I don't expect them to bring a mint but I don't want give them away either.
They are all in excellent shape. Practically the same shape as I bough them.

Thinking about listing Fender Lite Ash Tele Natural MIK, PRS SE Soapbar Wine Red MIK, Fender Deluxe Players Strat.
I also have a Squier M70 Black MIK but it has a lot of pick scratches. Bought it as a project and never did anything with it.

Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks

Reverb makes it pretty easy to list. You might have a little more luck than I with those guitars.

I think I'll try posting one and see how it goes. I'm just cautious I guess.
I used to sell years ago on Yahoo Auctions (not gear). But I've never had good luck with Craigslist, eBay or other local outlets.

Due to the lack of hot weather, I haven't had nearly as much pooly time this year.

Honestly, listing on Reverb is so awesome. Having listed on eBay since 98, it's such a nice change. When I list, I can hear angels singing.

That's reassuring.
I'm going to set up an account and see what happens. I'm in no rush to sell them. They're all good players, they just aren't played.

and not being in a rush is the key. when I list on eBay now, it's because ZOMG I have to have this shiny thing RIGHT NOW and can't wait.

I think I blew my wad (of cash) last year. I haven't been jonesing for anything lately. I've watched a couple of PRS at Dave's Guitars but nothing I'm ready to pull the trigger on.
