16th notes at 130 BPM... If I can pull it off later today, I'll record a video...
It took me a while to pull several off in a row at 130 BPM, and then I would still blow it after 4 or 5 runs... I put on 170 BPM for the heck of it, because I can wank at that speed and pull off runs of alternate picking, so I thought I would try... I almost did it one time through... Almost is a big word, here!
At 170 BPM, when I am improvising, there are a lot of double picked notes, and hammer-on/pull-offs... I was actually joking about 170 being an obtainable goal for me on these exercises, being able to do it over and over, but maybe I can spit out one run once in a while...
