Question: Anyone know anything about snowblower auger cables?

A pin broke on my Craftsman 7.75" snowblower auger cable on the back.

I assume I just need to get another cotter pin, attach the cable, putt it tight and pop the pin back in?

I think the cable just has a little z bend in it that hooks in the hole at the end of that plate.

If that's broken, you might need a new cable.

I think the cable is in good shape. Just popped a cotter pin

I just lost a pin on my snowblower, too. The one to lock the wheel.

So I put a 12 Penny nail in there and bent it over with a hammer.

Like a boss.
