Anyone free Monday night between 5-6pm PST?

[Mark Wein]

I need to test a new online class offering...the first 5 forumites to PM me can be in on a free 60 minute video lesson. You do need to have a working webcam with microphone and you'll need to download the free "ooVoo" program from www.oovoo.com ahead of time....

Fook. I have no webcam and mic.

I would love to be there.

EDIT: How much does a webcam and mic cost?

Some under $50 at best buy.com I sure there are better prices somewhere on the net but you probably have a best buy close that you could run into to get at those prices. Most of those have a built in mic.

[Kerouac]

Sorry, Mark... I'll be in lessons during that time. Otherwise I would've been down.

Sounds cool, but I don't have a webcam, or even the internet at home. Going to try to get the internet part taken care of this week, though. It that part works out, might consider a webcam later. The only reason I can think of for needing one would be for lessons with Mark, which I think would be really cool.

Have to miss out on this one, though.

[Prages]

I'd try, but I don't know if my intarwebz would be fast enough even now.

Actually, that would be helpful, too...I'm trying to see how this thing will work with all kinds of internet connections.....
