Pretty amazing, since we have yet to play our first gig, but this is where having connections comes in very handy.
Each November, the San Diego Chargers hold their annual blood drive. It is a big event that lasts an entire day and draws thousands of people. The players themselves as well as the Charger Girls are on hand throughout the day signing autographs and taking pictures. All of the local media is there to cover it.
So as it turns out, our drummer (a long time local DJ) is friends with the event's entertainment coordinator, who liked our sound examples so much, that we have been officially invited to take part.
Looks like we will be rocking out with the Chargers in November. Awesome.
