also, in case i wasn't completely clear. don't send it fedex or ups. must be USPS mail. because it's being handled by the FEDERAL government, it becomes a legal document, AND screwing around with the letter becomes mail fraud. and that is something courts WILL pursue.

Yup, I got that part. Not my first rodeo, but I didn't think if it before you mentioned it.
 
last time this happened to me, [another guy] actually stole my 77 Tele. He was a form member over at HC and was doing some customizing for me. So no, you're not out of line. Fuck that shit.
