About to pull the trigger on this

WTF? FTW!
In my travels in the world of Doom I discovered a couple of things about guitars. But the main thing I have noticed is "Wood is no good".
So the time has come for my new guitar and I am going with this.
Should have it in 10 months

Electrical Guitar Company out of Pensacola Florida. Looked at Travis Bean guitars and they are way overpriced now and the quality is no where near the stuff EGC is making. I originally was just looking for an aluminum neck for my plexi SG project, but decided wth? An all aluminum guitar would be awesome. Then I saw the Melvins a couple weeks ago and got to check out King Buzzo's guitars and I was sold

I was dreaming of buying one of these before my shoulders got so bad that I had to stop using heavy guitars. They do seem like amazing guitars, and King Buzzo buying them is a pretty powerful seal of approval.

King Buzzo was really nice to us and the guitar felt like a Les Paul weight wise. The neck is the same thickness all the way to the body, which really felt really good. The neck just needed to be wider for my big meat hooks

Two friends have bought EGC instruments. One has a a Model One (I think). The other has a plexi SG. Each of them says it's the best guitar they've ever played. There's a lot of naysayers in here, but I say go for it. :thu:

The web-site says they are 1.75" nut-width. That's pretty darned wide for an electric. About standard width for most acoustics.
