A student recorded a jam between Tom and myself with my new amp last week...

it's myself playing the first solo, then Tom and then we trade back and forth...Tyler is playing drums, Modern Saint Jr on Bass and one of my other students (who recorded this) on rhythm guitar. I'm also playing through Saint's boogie cabinet with the Celestion Neo speaker....

Sounds great!
You guys work well together.

thanks! Tom is fun to play with because he actually listens to what the other guitarist is doing and works with them...and I can steal licks from him ...

yeah! i really dig this! i like the way you and your student weave back and forth,ya'll really mesh well ,and it's often difficult to tell who is playing what, and that is COOL. I mean that as a very big compliment . the drums are spot on as well, VERY good pocket style.
this post went very well with my morning coffee

Well, Tom is actually one of the teachers... :)

I should clarify even further... Tom is my Blues teacher, and Mark is my general guitar teacher...

WOW, you are one lucky guy! That tune is so cool because the guys are making MUSIC instead of trying to play every lick they know and show each other up. I wish i'd hav had teachers like that. VERY cool

Yea, that was fun... You can definitely tell who is doing which leads... Mark's playing seems more precise, and Tom seems to know a lot of "magic" notes...

Online lessons via Skype... I've been playing over 30 years, and only recently started taking lessons... It's really opening up the fret board for me...

That's great! :rawk:

It's nice to work with musicians that are actually musical...thats not always been the reality of my surroundings :embarrassed:
