...called "those time johnnies"...yes, yes, I know, what can I say?..it was late, etc etc,

Anyways, piano and vocals by my good lady, bass, guitar and ropy "live" drum machine by me. I had to record the piano at my gf's mothers house on a mini-disc and then play everything else to it..be nice! or not..I can take it...probably.

That sounds really great from what i can hear here at work, i really need to get home and play it on my system there, but sounded really cool!

Thanks Phil!...not really a "guitar" song, but we didn't think it needed it really.

Yes, very cool. Very well done.

I would say it's reminds me of the Beatles, but usually when i say that it happens to be to someone that hates the Beatles. lol.

So i'll just say its very good. :embarrassed:

I'm having problems listening to it on my mac since its a WMA...I'll try from home later!

I love The Beatles!...thanks!...I'll convert it to MP3 later on today when I get home..might be easier for folks to listen to it then. :embarrassed:

Very nice! I hear something of a "White Album" influence on this one....I dig the feel and she sings great on the track!

Thanks very much for your kind words guys!..Mark, the "White Album" is a major influence for both of us...just an incredible variety of moods on that record I think.

it was a lot of fun to do this..first time I've tried recording a real piano..I know nothing about "synching" up stuff, so my GF just played the piano to a metronome and I then played a "live" drum machine track and added on the other bits gradually. I've got some some stuff we did that is more guitar based "rock" and I'll add it on here for your comments at some point.

Oh, here's the mp3 version which may be easier for most of you to access:

Well, not as often as I'd like...work commitments for both of us make it difficult. We were in a band for many years (the one whose tracks I put in my sig on HC, kind of freaky Zappa'ish stuff)...but now we're both very much "part time"...so it takes an insane amount of time to finish even one track. I mean, the one I just posted, I had the piano track for 2 years!!...then we finished the rest of it in one weekend recently....by which time I've forgotten how to mix, put in effects etc...
