Yep - snow all over the place this morning. When I first left home it was also really windy but that seems to have calmed down for now. Lot of accidents though, luckily all that I saw were pretty minor ones. Now I have to go back out in this and get my daughter to school.... :facepalm:
 
We got around two inches of snow in central PA, mixed with a little sleet/freezing rain. This resulted in a layer of ice underneath the snow. My apartment complex's parking lot is still a hockey rink, my landlord clearly doesn't give a shit. I always hear people's tires screeching and spinning as they attempt to drive up the hill to leave our complex. :facepalm:

We have hot dry Santa Ana winds right now. I feel dehydrated all the time, didn't sleep at all last night and the kids get all wound up from it. messedup0

Heres the weather for us:

Today: Sunny and windy. High 83F. Winds NE at 25 to 40 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 60 mph.

Its already 73 degrees and its not even 7am yet frown0

I wouldn't be thrilled with your weather situation this morning but I really hate the heat, and with the Santa Ana winds it really becomes the 9th layer of hell here sometimes...
 
Oh man, It hink my daughter would be out of school today if it were up to me to get her there Dave. I hope you guys have an uneventful trip. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, driving in ice and snow or ice and rain. Ice just pretty much sucks.

Luckily, my daughter's school is only about a quarter from work, though I have to drive a long way around to get there. A pretty easy drive this morning it ended up. Traffic is amazingly slow right now. Maybe a lot of people stayed home today. It is icy under the snow though, so it was a slow drive....

Though the possible snow amount here has bumped from 1 inch to 5 inches for this morning. I hate driving in the snow, but it has been really dry for the past month and way too warm for January.....

The mountains just west of us have been getting clobbered with snow all winter, but Denver has had a very mild winter so far (outside of a week or so in December). The weather here is weird. 60 miles west the had record breaking snow in December - we were below average here.
