Kick Henry Jackassowski
We worked together for the past 26 years, had lunch together for most of those. He was 70 years old.

He was also a great musician. Back in the day, his band was the house band at Ponderosa Park in Salem OH, backing some of the biggest names in country music as they made their way through their tour. Everyone played Ponderosa Park, Garth Brooks, Crystal Gale, Alabama, Tanya Tucker, etc., literally everyone, and his band was the backing for those that didn't have a band, common for a lot of folks in the 1970's.

When he wasn't at Ponderosa Park, he kicked around the local watering holes just like the rest of us. What was amazing was that he had an encyclopedia of songs that he could pull out at a moments notice. Anything, thousands of songs. And he never forgot the words, ever. He was an excellent bass player and all around great entertainer.

Unfortunately, there isn't one thing out there on the net. He had quit playing in bars about 10 or so years ago, before anything and everything got loose.

Anyway, here's to you Johnny Carroll. RIP. :( You'll be missed.
