A few new live vids from our gig last weekend.

Dexter Inferno

Serious error
Guitar wankery inside.

Did a support gig for a well known national act last weekend, filmed our set.
Crap image quality though, as I had to position the camera up on the gallery at the far end, but sounds quite good at least.

Band's starting to sound quite good I must say. :)

First one of our originals..

One of my fave Purple tunes (fun one to play this) :thu:

And our set finisher, an ancient Cry of Love tune that some might know..

Quite empty in front of the stage, but that's how support gigs often work. :embarrassed:

Quite pleasantly surprised by the sound we got from the soundguys as well btw, as the support bands often tend to sound like ass FOH.

What's your rig for that band? The vox and tele?

Yep. :)

The p90 Tele for most songs, with a standard Tele for the open G songs, and a baritone on one tune.
TC Dark Matter pedal for the dirt sounds (love that pedal btw).

edit: forgot I kick in the Jekyll side of my Jekyll&Hyde for some more gain for the lead sounds. Creamy.

Love the combination of Tele and Vox really, good match. :)

clean backing vocals! I dig!

Me and the other guitarist (as well as the drummer) went to same music studies, so we all have choir experience (I took exams in choir direction btw).
Pretty much why our bass player has been turned into the lead vocalist.

I'm a bastard when it comes to backing vocals - that shit is bloody vital for a band imo. :)
