Super cool Ibanez Mikro Bass with matte walnut finish.

Compact and ready for anyone looking to pick up their first bass.

Super affordable.

As is.

I considered getting one of those a while back. Then work gave me a nice Amazon gift card, so I went with the PJ Mustang instead.

Not my choice on bases. I remember one of the cheaper models where the neck was very flimsy.

I have one in an off-white. (It was probably white when new.) It made a nice studio bass for me as a non-bass player. Sadly, something happened during the studio move and I am not sure if the problem is the string or the tuner. I have the new mini-acoustic bass, however, so haven't bothered looking into it.

I have an old GSR200 bass that is of very similar conformation, and it works just fine for me...

I had one for a while. That 28.6" scale is a lot of fun to play with. I got it for $20 from a woman who’s ex-boyfriend left it at her house. She sold it cheap because the action was high and some tech quoted her $120 for a setup. Took me five minutes to adjust it.

I can vouch for the flimsy neck thing. I had one for quite a while that I picked up at GC for like $130 during a sale. I liked it enough in the store... it seemed to play and sound nice enough. Wasn't long before I realized the neck was a noodle. BIG bow towards the center that made playing it a challenge and the intonation a joke. Truss rod would bring it back for a while, but not long. Soon enough the bow was back and you could pitch shift notes by "playing" the neck. Not good. Strangely, the Mitchell A/E I bought the same day had the exact same issue. Both were cheap, both sounded great for the money, both were utterly useless.

Sent from a van down by the river.
