I'm not sure a Grateful Dead guitar is for me, but it looks nice and isn't ungodly expensive.

Hold on folks...

I love it. :hippie: I have actually toyed with the idea of buying one. Of all the Grateful Dead-themed guitars I have seen, this one works for me.

I like the Dead, and of all the 'themed' guitars, feel that they'd be most 'eligible for purchase,' perhaps because they seem very removed (like an old Elvis guitar would be very removed).

But this looks like Ted Nugent joined the Dead and Company. It's terrible. I would have preferred an Aoxomoxoa theme or anything else.

Shazam! Captain Marvel, Captain America and the Flash had a strange love child.

Paint it black and give it to me for free. Then it is ok.

Regarding the Grateful Dead part, I don't really like or play the Dead and wouldn't want to be asked to play anything they did. so no thank you.

I should hate it...but I don't. Somehow I feel they pulled it off.

Now this I hate (I didn't even know D'Angelico had a whole solid-body line)...

It would have been fine in either blue or red but together in a Grateful Dead theme it is a no go.

I wonder how the tone is on that guitar when half of the notes don't ring on a lead run.

I am NOT a fan of the dead, but that one I like much more
