Ever the innovative company, Parker guitars is continually tweaking and modifying to achieve perfection, the Parker PDF100 is no exception. The new PDF line features a new radial neck joint that creates better transfer of tone from neck to body with no neck slippage. The PDF100 has a lightweight mahogany body, quilt maple veneer, and ebony fingerboard. The new flared headstock provides strength for a slimmer neck profile and more comfortable playing. The Parker vibrato system, Seymour Duncan pikcups and Sperzel locking tuners finish off this modern wonder. The Parker PDF100 is a continuing evolution of guitars.

I would prefer a different finish, but I do like it. The Duncan JB would have to be replaced.

Pretty cool, I have never had a chance to play a Parker. It need a different finish for sure.

Good price for a Parker, and the body shape isn't the usual Fly. I'd keep the pickups.

...I feel that you wouldnt look right playing that without some animal print spandex on...

Don't care for it.

This is a genuine question. The text states "radial neck joint that creates better transfer of tone from neck to body". Is there some device or method of measuring the transfer of tone in a guitar? Or is this just marketing fluff? I assume this is just marketing BS, but maybe luthiers have some special tools/devices that can measure frequencies in the body and neck.

it creates better transfer of tone than if the joint had not been there and you had to play the neck and body separately.

I've always liked Parkers, and this is no exception. I'd opt for one without the quilt, though.

Would, but I would much rather have the higher end model with the composite material neck.

I'd want the piezo in it that they put in most of their other guitars, and the color wouldn't be my first choice....but....

I would LOVE to try it out.

If it had the piezo in it, I might buy that.

I am assuming it is an import at that price point - probably an upgrade to the existing import line. I like Parkers - the necks are awesome and they play really nicely. I hate the finish on that one, though they do come in solid colors. And I agree with Aahzz - the JB would have to go. I just don't get along with that pickup very well...
