RBI is a flawed statistic because it relies on teammates just as much as the player himself. How about his slash line is .314/.409/.655? That’ll get you ROY.

While the scoring was impressive, Gerrit Cole became the second pitcher in MLB history to strike out at least 14 batters in three straight starts. He almost pulled off a no-no.

He was in a slump recently. Two days ago, his average was still above .330.
Now if he can improve his fielding, look out!
 
what is the deal /trend with all these millenial MLB pitchers and their long hair? It looks horrible how it sticks out the sides....not a good look and a bad trend for sure, Here's a Dodgers pitcher who looks like Carrot Top 1994....

Heh, I'm not a fan of that look either, but I figure I'm not one of the people he's trying to impress.

At least baseball isn't the kind of sport where an opposing player is likely to grab the hair and rip the guy's head off.
