Rustbelt refugee.
So, what did you all get?

Me, so far I got a pair of cool brown leather dad boots with a side zipper so I can get my Rayby Baby Kristoff thing on like my old man. Seriously, they're cool though. Also, got a portable DVD player and then the good stuff for my upcoming project this year.

A Gretsch Filtertron bridge pup, a plain black pickguard (to customize) and strat single coil covers in cream.

My daughter probably got me more stuff, but we're exchanging with her on the 26th.

What did you all get?
 
i'll get what ever i give myself, next week. nothing special. a pair of sunglasses, a blood pressure cuff (me and my doc are trying to get it down from 190).
nothing much.
 
I normally do something big I've been wanting to get done...this year it was all about my recording studio setup...

Up until now it's looked like this...

...which takes up most of my living room and needs to be put up and taken down each time I want to use it...

So this year I bought a studio desk, put together a dedicated computer, and moved the whole thing into my bedroom...now it looks like this...

Im excited see my 3yr old daughter tomorrow morning...first year she really remembers how this works from last year.
As for my own haul, I got an esoteric gift the likes of which only I could have picked for me. Details in another thread.
 
A foot and leg massager that I found on the porch at the beginning of the month. So, kinda ruined the surprise, but everyone likes it.
Sunday night, we did presents with the grand kids. They gave us some gift cards for one of our favourite restaurants and some treats.

A vinyl care kit and an LP

Some Irish Whisky
A bacon calendar
Some coffee syrups.

My family has listened to this album every year as we decorate the tree for the last 20 years! Holiday classic
