I've never been so happy having done a cover version of a song. Two of my major influences wrote it, yet I also was able to infuse my own sensibilities into it.

Marking this for subscription. Maybe I'll learn to use Reaper finally.
Any other super simple straight forward DAWs out there? I'd rather spend time recording than figuring out how to.

Don't know to much about different programs other than Reaper and Samplitude Music Studio. I'd go with Samplitude, I learned on a free version of it that I used for years before upgrading to the regular version. I find it pretty easy, easier than Reaper at least, and it's not that expensive compared to the others.

I had to put all my recording stuff away since at present there is just no room for my recording stuff, even though there is not too much of it. Plus I sold my bass.

I'll see what I can do. It might end up being just acoustic and vocal....if I can get my acoustic to stop buzzing....

I just copy the normal link and it sort of just creates that soundcloud imbedded thing on its own. I don't have the pro version.

Here's one, all I did was click "share" and "copy to clipboard" and then pasted.
