2017 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Guitar ~ Chili Red

You are looking at a 2017 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray with a Chili Red gloss finish, maple fretboard, dual custom sound humbuckers and tremolo! This is just a great guitar that combines the awesome vintage features from the original 70’s Stingray with some fresh new appointments, making it even better than the classic original. The tortoise pick-guard and back plate have been changed to the black guard and plate as shown in the pics. The original parts are also included. She's otherwise all original and ready to rock!

Here is the lowdown on the features:

She was born in 2017 and has been played, but well cared for. The guitar is in clean condition with only some pick-scratches on the pick-guard, some scratches on and next to the back plate, and several small light surface impressions on the top. The guitar really does have a very clean appearance despite these minor flaws. The neck is straight, with no cracks or repairs... the frets are excellent, with their entire life ahead of them... and the sound is sweet! Also included is the original hard shell case, the case candy, the original pick-guard & back-plate and the trem bar, just as shown in the last picture! Whoever brings this baby home is going to be completely stoked!

I prefer pretty much everything about G&L Skyhawk HB from yesterday over this guitar. They are quite similar in many respects, but I don't care for the offset-ness of the MM.

Just checked the prices, and the MM wouldn't worth the extra $1,000-1,300 for me...even if I liked them more. I'm a fan of both brands, but I've not played a U.S. made MM that was astonishingly better than a U.S. made G&L. I dug the EVH guitar w/ the original switch placement, Silhouettes, and the Axis Sport guitars, but no more than the ASATs and Legacy/S-500/Commanche guitars. I love the Morse model, but can't justify it anymore...if I ever could.
