I can't possibly express the strength of the "NOPE" that I feel when I look at this melted, poorly drawn...I guess it's a guitar...

Dunno about hot, but it's interesting. Alamo guitars were made in San Antonio, and at some brief point they were contracted to make Ryder guitars, which was the budget line out of the Rickenbacker factory.

It'd be cool for a video or photo shoot, beyond that my suspicions are that it would not be pleasant to play.

Found this video of another Alamo model, seems to be the same single pickup and features, but a different headstock and slightly different shape.

I think it sounds really great:



Wonderful Dano-ish sound. It'd be perfect for R.L. Burnside blues, Link Wray, or even Chris Isaak sounding stuff.
