Description: This one-of-a-kind Rickenbacker 360 WB Custom is outstanding. Here with a custom Gun Metal Blue finish and a wide neck, there is truly no other guitar like it, and there's even a letter in the case from Rickenbacker ensuring its rarity. Loaded with two humbuckers, it's especially clean sounding and has just the right amount of that Rickenbacker brilliance and jangle. This guitar sounds wonderful - pure tone with rich harmonics and overtones. And of course, it comes equipped with the 'Rick-O-Sound' stereo output. Aside from its splendid voice, this guitar looks amazing. Its beautifully bound hollow body is an exceptional example of a 360, with smooth contoured cutaways and a sleek 'cat-eye' soundhole. The pristine craftsmanship here is undeniable. Its wider neck (1 3/4" nut width) has a bound Rosewood fretboard and triangular pearloid markers. The chrome 'R' tailpiece and black pickguard top off its eye-catching appearance. Though it's technically used, this guitar is in Mint condition. The only one ever made, it doesn't get much better than this Rickenbacker 360 WB Custom. Comes with a silver hard case.

I had a Rick bass once but I don't have any experience with their guitars.

That's an odd one. I'm not liking the color or the idea of dual humbuckers on a 360. And moreover, that's a 330 body, so I'm not sure how the 360 designation fits.

the current 330 shape was the original 360 shape. you can tell this is a 360 because it only has 21 frets, while the modern 330 has 24 frets.

the humbuckers actually sound really good. i'd love to try that guitar to see if the Ric humbuckers would be worth putting into my (modern) 330.

But a 360 has 24 frets. Or are you saying that when the 360 looked like the 330 it had 21 frets?

I liked the humbuckers in the 650 series guitars. Might be interesting to try them in the 330, but rolling off the tone makes the hi-gains warm enough for me.

Yes, thanks for filling that sentence in.

For me, the buckers aren't so much about warmth as they are unity gain with my other guitars. And hum.

...a Ric base in white is my dream bass...set up with flats, of course :embarrassed:...
 
I dig it, but I'd like it better with a darker fretboard. Purely cosmetic though, I'm sure it plays awesomely!
 
The more I look at that, the more I like it, actually.......

I would buy that if it weren't for the outrageous pricetag.
 
I kinda think they ought to have a traditional Ric finish, but I do like this one.
$4500 for a OoaK doesn't seem that bad, I guess.

in fact, (and I blame you for this Howie :wink: ), I think I may have to get me a Ric in the nearish future.

and a Dano too.

But, as it is, I'm in a terrible quandry guitar-wise. I'm getting a very nice profit sharing bonus in the next week or two. I'm also thinning the herd (the Gretsch Special Jet is becoming a case queen [I prefer hollowbody Gretsches to solidbody Gretsches], and for the FOURTH time, I've fallen out of love with Teles [I think I'd just better give up on them]). So, I'm looking for a replacement guitar, for the two guitars going bye bye. The thing is, I have a line on a 1990, jetglo 360 (my first 360 was a 1994, jetglo), AND I also have a line on a Gretsch Country Club (I miss my old Country Club I had to sell back in 2009). So, I can't make up my mind, which to get. :shrug:
