Floyd Rose Brad Whitford's Aerosmith, Redmond Series Guitar (#52) Super Bowl, Signed, Authenticated

WOW! Here's a rare opportunity to own a piece of history from the greatest American hard rock band ever.

After 50 years in Aerosmith, and a lifetime infatuation with guitars and amps, Brad Whitford accumulated so much gear that it’s overflowing his warehouse. He used this gear to create some of the most iconic rock and roll of our time. He selected over 170 of his precious guitars, amps and speakers and asked my help in finding them new homes with players and fans who will appreciate them as much as he does. There’s a ton of amazing gear here. Keep watching, we’re posting more of Brad’s collection every day.

Brad Whitford played this innovative Floyd Rose “Redmond” model guitar extensively during the early 2000s in live performances with Aerosmith. It can be seen extensively in their 2004 “You Gotta Move” live DVD as well as their performance at the Super Bowl XXXVIII pre-game show at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX. Whitford was also featured playing this guitar in a popular full page Floyd Rose ad. The deeply iridescent finish can look from deep blue to dark purple depending on the lighting and angle. The guitar is in excellent condition with no notable issues. There are some visible signs of wear in the finish on the back to the guitar. Includes an extra set of Floyd rose strings found in the case. Brad hand signed the back of the headstock.
Brad’s guitar tech personally inspected the guitar. He adjusted the neck, polished the frets, oiled the fretboard, sprayed the pots and installed new strings. The guitar is in excellent working condition with no notable issues. There are visible signs of wear on the back of the guitar. The guitar is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag on the headstock.

It includes the black guitar strap with fretlocks visible in the live shots, a hardshell case, one of Brad’s custom Aerosmith guitar pics and a certificate of authenticity signed by Brad Whitford.

I have to bring it up to pitch with fine-tuners?!?!?

IMHO, the two best guitarists for Aerosmith were Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner.

lulz

I remember playing one of those when they came out and it was over priced on the rack let alone adding on the stupid aerosmith tax

Show us some better ones next time. That one blows.

I'd try one if I saw it in a shop. If it turned out to be a player I might pay a couple of hundred for one. No way in hell would I ever pay that sort of money for one, never bought into the "owned by" bullshit.
