Yuck.

While the guitar is an abomination, I think that would be a great graphic for a pedal.

The guitars posted in the GPOTD series may have been for sale at the time, but always through other sites. Recently, we've gotten into the habit of posting a link to the original so people can get more information. But you should check the domain the pictures originally came from.

[telecaster911]

I wouldn't play it but I don't hate it.

I've gotten a lot of messages from people about some of the more obscure models. It's kinda weird.

It's always the super weird ones, like 2 years later. Funny how that works.

Hell yes ! It is a signature guitar by the late hide, the Lead guitarist for japanese Mega Legendary Band X-Japan.
They started as a speed metal band and mixed that later on with Alternative Rock elements and they were also known for many ballads like "Endless Rain", "Voiceless Screamin" or "Tears".

The band split up in 1997 and hide died 1998, his death was widely mourned.

He was like the Kurt Cobain (not in style but as famous) of Japan.

Here you can see his version of the green Mockingbird in Action
Especially during the guitar solo part the neon effect is cool.

Another cool Mockingbird creation you can see here ..

These guys influenced a whole generation of japanese Musicians.

BTW these guitars were built by Burny Guitars.

[Danhedonia]

I am impressed by your knowledge, but that's some terrible music right there.

[Budgiecat]

ehh? I dont see why the hate on this guitar. Burny (and Fernandes) make great quality guitars.
Hide from X-Japan also was a really good guitarist and they had some good songs.
More importantly, that guitar has a Sustaniac pickup which is reaaaaaally cool and useful. Thats the main draw imo

[jelloman]

I dont see why the hate on this guitar.

You must be new here...

To kill a mockingbird - preferably with fire.

Actually I would be OK with rocking that. At least it's got humbucklers!

[Hubert Stumblin]

I didn't like it in 2015. But now upon second look.....I still don't like it.

There's a Help!ful comment for EVERYTHING!
