1969 Fender Paisley Telecaster
The famous Paisley Telecasters were only available in 1968 and 1969, making them one of the rarest production model Telecasters ever made.
This amazing instrument came from the original owner and is especially clean and 100% original. This Tele is lightweight and resonant and the pickups have a clarity without the harshness you something hear from later series Telecasters.
Because of the fragile nature of the way these were produced with wallpaper/giftwrap paper. Most are falling apart and can not even see much playing time. The Paisley paper on this amazing instrument is FULLY intact and looks great!
This one was definitely a pride and joy instrument. You can tell it was played because of the slight wear through on the finish on the sides/edgesof the body but the finish of the neck and body retain a lustre of a new guitar that you don't often see on a 40+ year old instrument. Because of the yellowing of the topcoat the original more garish pink hues have faded to a pleasant clementine tinged pink.
Check out the better than normal case candy. This one comes with a killer vintage Cordova brand woven hippie strap ($150 value) , period coil cable, vintage period picks, original Fender luggage tag, original polishing cloth and case key!

This one has light checking throughout with only a couple spots where the lacquer cracks are deep. The neck is smooth and clean with only some small dings here and there. The fretboard is the same, very minimal wear that does not affect playability one bit. The headstock looks like new. This is a beautiful addition to any Telecaster collection and it also plays great!
