Flaxwood Liekki 2013 Natural

Natural" Flaxwood Liekki model electric guitar. These are very interesting guitars made of a spruce-based resin (called flaxwood) that is supposed to sound as close to natural wood as possible. This guitar has been used and is missing the truss-rod cover. Also, the original bridge looks to have been replaced with a wilkinson compensation wraparound (not sure what the original was supposed to be). The pickups are humbucking soapbar-style with a 5-way switch and series/parallel mini toggle for tonal options. The guitar doesn't come with a case, but I probably could source a gig-bag if desired.

I think these are awesome, and I really, really want to play one. If I was a touring musician, I'd give them a very serious look.

I don't really care for the "finish" but if it were solid black, I think I could dig it.

I posted one a while ago. I saw them on an exhibition in Holland and was very intrigued.

I would choose another finish though

I'm not totally against the idea, but that natural finish just has to go. The important phrase, to me, is the one describing the sound: "supposed to sound as close to natural wood as possible." I'd have to hear how close.
