Wild Samick 'Explorer' Style in OHSC

An extremely whacky Samick solid body, dual humbucker guitar in the original hard case. The shape screams '1980s' and so it's probably Korean made, but some searching has yielded no information on this model (if you can clue me in, please get in touch!). The headstock was repaired and the instrument was inspected and set up by Mouradian, who said that it's build quality is excellent and the pickups are VERY high output. It looks like the headstock broke along a seam before anyone had the chance to play this beast, because both the instrument and interior of the case are pristine, and all the accessories are present (vibrato arm, hex wrench, case key). Mouradian did an excellent job repairing the headstock; it's much stronger along that seem now than when it was manufactured, and the repair is only visible if you're looking closely for it. I tried to highlight it in the last couple of photos. Again, if you have any further info on this model, I'll be glad to hear it.

Samick makes some pretty nice guitars for other brands, and under their own brand name, but this one doesn't do it for me.

Needs 22 frets and a Floyd. Like the shape, fantastic guitar to scare the bejeezus out of the local blues jam. Would need to check the headstock repair in person.

Not my thing at all. It would be a nice $150.00 guitar though - but I imagine they are asking several times that.

I had one like this year's ago. I want to buy another, but I do not know the model name. I loved that guitar. Here is the only photo of mine
