Is this winter starting to get long for everyone else??

Bunch of pussies closing down for some snow. Where the hell am I supposed to get my mini golf fix?

well, they're calling for 6 to 10 over night.....again.
our pansy ass county sheriff has already called a Level 2 snow emergency....that means if you're out driving, you can be ticketed or arrested. we wont have a single snow flake for another 2 hours. last time, right after new years, the asshole kept us at level 3 for 3 days. businesses in the county lost MILLIONS.

i hope this asshole enjoys his term as sheriff....it will be his ONLY one.

(btw....no other county in norther ohio have ANY levels up right now)

That's a thing? hell, in Idaho people just break out the quads and snowmobiles if the snow gets too deep before it gets plowed.

We just got back from Kauai and the storm that passed through before we got there showed up here. Hallelujah for the Pineapple Express! We really really really need the rain.

You don't have to shovel it or drive in it. Your opinion is invalid.

Agreed. Most of my friends that live in apartments love so because it's "so pretty". Horseshit! It's a major PITA. People that love snow generally aren't responsible for moving it.

We got about 7 inches of snow here in Chicago last night. I am so fucking sick of this winter.

Incorrect. (from my point of view. you are welcome to dislike snow if you want to, but I don't) I am fully responsible for removing it from around my home and did so today. AND, I loved it! bring it on. I got to ski with my boy's group today and film on a powder day that showed up just in time for his 14th birthday. It was awesome! Here is a quick little low res vid I put together after. My kid is the one with the coat with the green on the shoulder. He jumps over the tree a little way into the film.

It would be OK with me if it didn't snow any more.......it is 21 degrees F and sunny out, so it's a nice day......but I am tired of the snow at this point.

Since I broke my toes on one foot and the bone in my other foot, my ski season is about over, anyway...

have you considered moving to a more temperate climate? maybe Siberia?

sadly enough, I actually moved back here from warmer climes...
the cold wouldn'tbother me so much if it didn't cost so damn much to heat the house.
that's my biggest issue with the temperature, actually.

and a few months from now, we'll be complaining about the heat :embarrassed:

See, living near a fun place to play in the snow is heaven to me. Putting up with snow in the average town is beyond comprehension and you can keep dat shit!

nope, we sure don't.

honestly though, if it weren't for the heating bill, I wouldn't mind at all.
I'm pretty adept at dressing for the cold, it's not hard.
even indoors

in fact, I'd rather deal with -40 than +36, any day of the week.
it's easy to add extra clothing, little harder to remove clothing when you're already naked due to the heat.

I assume you don't have a large driveway. Mine is 250' to the road.
