We have our main meetings on Mondays so its obviously shit as its a Monday and no one wants to be there. I go early so I can sit at the back and play on my phone or daydream. Ive been caught out once or twice though as ive been asked questions and had no idea what they were on about.

Are you a Mod mo?

Yes. I have great power here and choose to use it as unwisely as possible. Much like my day job really. :embarrassed:

Excellent!

Does Wok post here? PMC?

I've seen them both here occasionally. I think they might both think that it's a bit tame compared to GJ. The cunts. :embarrassed: I think that with all the same people, you guys plus Calum, Motorik etc it would be pretty similar...in the "euros" thread we don't usually do religion, politics or porn, much :embarrassed:..so shouldn't be that difficult to go with Marks' rules.

Good Morning Fannies!

I say that as Stu said it. Dont Yanks call bums fannies and tits cunts? Something like that anyway.

Morning furry beavers  or something. :embarrassed: 'tis a dull and dreary day in London but I listened to Cream for the first time in ages on my commute and that was great. :embarrassed:

Nonsense.

Bums are guys that usually scream at you on the way to the train, or commonly found with empty bottles of Cisco around them.

Fannies? The word isn't used above the age of 5, or by any adult that's not a Nursery School Teacher. Or the really irritatingly proper.

Tits? Yep. Common parlance. Fun-bags, knockers, jugs...all ubiquitous. Most commonly used while watching sporting events and drinking Coors Lite. With the other mouth-breathing knuckle-draggers you're with at the time. Not commonly used in polite society.

Cunts: it's a term of endearment used widely to describe any female that you might know vaguely, but wish to get to know better. For instance, if there's a woman that you'd really like to get to know better that you work with, but you've only made smiling eye contact with her in the hallways and never spoken much, it's entirely proper to use a greeting such as "Good morning, cunt!" She'll want to engage further. Possibly with legal action.

Pro-Tip: if visiting the U.S., avoid using the word "cunt" in front of women. At all costs. I think I expounded on this once before, in GJ. It's like dropping a Neutron Bomb.

Speaking of Harmony Central?

Down for Forum Maintenance at the moment. The hits just keep on coming. Last one out, turn off the lights...

Yeah, a couple of my female American co-workers who've been here for some time, took quite a while to get used to the liberal use of the word here.

Maintaining what? all those new threads? :embarrassed:

Wouldn't shock me at all if they were backing up to 3.5" Floppy Disks at this point...

Its not a word I ever use anyway. I think maybe some people think the word 'cunt' is used just as readily as some other words in the UK. It isn't, well, by certain people it might be but its not a word you hear all the time, though that would depend on your acquaintances and where you live. I never use the word and I havnt heard it said for ages.

Oh, it's a great word that I'd like to use far more than I do. The Brits have it right. In some cases, it's absolutely appropriate.

I'm sorry if I seem a bit edgy, today. North Korea threatened to first-strike nuke the U.S. last night. With their missile.
