I've never even seen a Rev in person. Since they are MIK, why are they higher than Gretsch electromatics and other competitors?

They are much higher quality. I have an electromatic and the PA is miles ahead. The bigsby on the PA is a real one not a licensed model. The pickups are fantastic and don't need to be changed. It has a unibrace system that eliminates feedback issues with the hollowbody. Locking tuners, graphite nut, roller bridge, jumbo frets, and is setup here in Detroit. There is no camarision between the two other than the basic hollowbody design.

Come to Pragestock this year and you will see tons of Reverends.

Want......

And yeah - the Reverend quality level is at or exceeding MIA stuff from the big boys. I love my Reverend....and that is all Rev1's fault.

Pretty Cool! But, it will not make me sell my Country Club!

And, to add to the comments - yes, Reverends are very well made guitars. The setups on them are just plain fantastic! My old Club King HB, played like butter from Day 1.

I like the Pete Anderson Model. If I didn't already have a Reverend with P90's, look out!

My next guitar will be a Reverend.

I'd love to have one of the Wildwood orange ones. I'd like to have a gloss finish for the price but I can easily overlook that detail.
