Well that didn't Last long

Sounds to me like this drummer will be free again soon from the demands of marriage.

Sounds also like you just need to move on and rock on.
 
Sucks for him. I can't imagine marrying a womanw who wouldn't let you do something you enjoy so much, I mean it's not like you guys are going to be hitting the road for months at a time.

some dudes are pussywhipped.

but some dudes sit on their ass and don't do shit while their lady takes care of their slovenly ass, and maybe she has the right to get pissed off when there's a house full of strangers making noise at 10pm that she wasn't warned about.
 
This is really starting to get interesting. The guitarist I know from the local shop has a drummer and wants to get together. I say ok I'll be there. Guitarist #3 that just showed up this past Tuesday calls me this morning and he also has a drummer and wants me to play with them. I like both guys I don't really know #3 very well but seems like an ok dude. I know #2 very well I and am comfortable playing with him, he is the most experienced of the two. Dude #2 wants to play with everyone, but dude #3 doesn't want to play with #2 because he is not as good as the guy I know and he wants to pay lead. I just want to play, I don't really care what or with who. I can't leave the guy I know in a lurch because I'm just not that kind of guy. So I guess I now have two things going on. Here I was worried I'd get the axe because I wasn't an experienced player, and I have two experienced guys trying to get me to go with them. This experience has been nothing if not entertaining.

Hopefully the drummer guitar player #2 knows is not the same drummer guitar player #3 knows.

It won't hurt to go jam with both groups and see which one you gel with better.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Besides I can use all of the practice I can get.
