First world problem

I never actually sit on my couch. It's a big thing that the previous homeowner must have had made for the weirdly shaped room. It mostly gets used by the dogs, who weigh less than 25 pounds together.

Most dogs are old school and go the backup generator route, according to a recent survey.
I’ve thought about getting a generator.
I’d likely be first and only person to install one in my neighbourhood and likely all of the surrounding neighbourhoods.

But weather is getting nastier here. So, maybe it’s time.

My electric recliner on the sofa quit working a year ago. It's probably a simple fix. It's hard to lift the 100 plus pound couch to see what's doing. I'll get around to it.

I started using a generator for power outages over a year ago. An electrician hooked up a plug so it powers the whole house. During fire season when the winds kick in, the electric company has been turning off the power for a day or two.
