Surely you'd want to share that gift certificate with your old pal Bernie Franks? My poor children need strings for their guitars; they've been wearing the same old raggedy strings for over a year now…

I think they put two and two together when they suddenly started receiving a bunch of similar-looking complaints shortly after offering you a $100 gift certificate.

Besides, I'm pretty sure they have spies that come and check out this place. Haven't you ever noticed how the "Guests" always outnumber actual members? Well, maybe they no longer outnumber us thanks to the HC Exodus, but they're there… :embarrassed:

I doubt it, their customer service department has to be huge, the chances of getting the person who gave out the $100 are slim. They probably have been absolutely inundated with complaints and are getting a little testy.

I should just keep sending my complaint letter until the right person sees it and shoots me a benjamin.

Probably. I've complained to them before about how much they've sucked ass too. This is hush money. :embarrassed:

I'd bet that when they get a complaint letter they run the name through their system for the total dollar amount of sales they've made to that person in the last couple of years. before they decide how to deal with the letter. That's what we do where I work. If you buy $50k from us per year, we're far more likely to give you a discount or otherwise bend over backward to keep your business than if you've bough $100 worth of stuff in the last two years. It's backfired a time or two. :embarrassed:

Yeah, I said that earlier, I'm not surprised at my response, I've pretty much been boycotting them for years. I bet the only thing I bought from them in the past five years were a couple of $25 Dano Cool Cat distortion pedals.

MF sales are a scam. They only put the shitty stuff on sale and jack up the price of the good stuff.
