Our drought is officially over but the damage done to the trees is unreal. I bet 30% of the oaks on my property out west are dead. It's sad.
On the other hand, we got a lot of firewood and now the baby trees have room to go nuts.

It has been bad in the northern part of the state because areas that aren't supposed to flood did. There will be lots of folks without insurance, which is no good. Once it drys out, it'll be a good time to be a sheet rocker or flooring guy.

What I've seen personally is lots of friends and neighbors helping each other out. That's kind of how it goes down here. Mr Rogers has a good quote about that, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
