Seriously, they are the rhythm section, they need to hold up the rhythm when I play a lead. They just didn't like it that I played chords in different places than they did and couldn't follow me, I told them if everyone plays the same exact chord it sounds like a bucket of mud, so I play it in a different spot and it is the same chord, but not in the same place as them to give it a different timbre. they don't get it...
